Vehicle Recovery & Transport Advice
An unexpected breakdown and a planned vehicle move need different arrangements. Start with whether anyone is in danger, where the vehicle is and what you need to happen next. You can contact ROVEX by telephone, WhatsApp or an existing website form; the team can help with the remaining details.
At a breakdown: safety before a quote
If there is immediate danger, an injury or a vehicle obstructing a live lane, call 999 and follow emergency-service instructions. Do not walk into traffic, attempt repairs in a live lane or put yourself at risk to take photographs. On a motorway, follow the road operator’s safety instructions; if you cannot get out safely, keep your seatbelt on and call 999.
When it is safe, call 07438 207257 for an urgent recovery enquiry. Give your location, direction of travel and a safe landmark or junction if known. Explain any immediate access problem. Confirm availability before waiting for assistance; sending a form or WhatsApp message does not confirm dispatch.
Decide whether you need help there or a move elsewhere
If you are asking about roadside assistance, describe the symptoms and any warning messages rather than diagnosing the fault. A jump-start attempt depends on suitability and availability and does not guarantee a start. Do not keep trying to start a vehicle after wrong fuelling or where doing so may be unsafe.
For a vehicle parked safely awaiting repair, a planned move may be more appropriate. Use the condition guide to describe known limitations without testing them. If you are considering disposal instead, use scrap-car enquiries and explain that intention; a repair transport enquiry does not authorise scrapping.
Match the enquiry to the handover
For an auction purchase, first check whether the site can release the vehicle and who can authorise collection. Use the auction collection planning page for the steps between purchase and delivery. For workshop or dealer transfers, use trade vehicle transport to coordinate the people at each end.
For a longer journey, give both countries and locations before agreeing dates or crossings. The long-distance guide covers route considerations for the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Make the first enquiry short and useful
Start with the vehicle make and model, where it is, where it needs to go, its known condition and your preferred timing. Add any known access problem. If the destination or condition is uncertain, say so; the team can guide you rather than asking you to make unsafe checks or gather every detail first.
Check that the proposed price and collection and delivery arrangements have been agreed before treating an enquiry as a booking. Tell the team if the vehicle, location, condition or timing changes, because the original assessment may need updating.
Check suitability rather than assuming coverage
Private customers and businesses can enquire about all vehicle types except HGVs, subject to condition, loading requirements, access, route and availability. Local collections within a 30-mile straight-line radius of L9, Liverpool are preferred; this does not limit consideration of collections and deliveries throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe, subject to the job and required arrangements.
Contact us in the way that suits you
Send the main details using the existing website form, WhatsApp or telephone. The team can guide you through any follow-up questions. Suitability, price and arrangements must be agreed before a booking is confirmed.
During a journey, a driver’s live location can be shared through WhatsApp when available. This is not continuous tracking or a guarantee of an arrival time.
For urgent recovery or roadside help, call and confirm availability before waiting for assistance. For other questions, see contact details or the vehicle transport overview.
