From winning bid to an agreed handover
Auction Vehicle Collection Planning
ROVEX welcomes enquiries from private buyers and businesses using any auction house. We are an independent recovery and transport business; mentioning an auction house does not imply an official partnership. Collection depends on the vehicle, site requirements, route and availability.
Separate a purchase from permission to collect
A winning bid or payment receipt may not be enough for a yard to release a vehicle. Ask the auction house what it requires from you and from the person collecting. Confirm that release is approved, identify the collection site and provide the lot or vehicle reference when enquiring.
Check whether the site requires an appointment, named collector or specific authorisation. Tell us about a collection deadline or possible storage charges before agreeing a date. Do not book a non-refundable collection slot on the assumption that ROVEX has accepted the job. The team can guide you through the relevant collection details.
Treat listing descriptions as information to check
Pass on the auction listing and any available condition photographs. Say whether the vehicle is described as starting, rolling, steering or braking, and distinguish that description from anything you know has changed. Missing keys, damaged wheels, low clearance or loose parts may affect safe loading.
If the condition is uncertain, say so. Do not arrange unsafe testing or movement to complete an enquiry. The non-runner transport page explains why starting and safe movement are separate questions.
Plan the receiving end before collection
Give the destination postcode, receiving contact and any access restrictions. A vehicle that can leave an auction yard may still need different arrangements at a narrow driveway, locked compound or workshop. Check that the recipient can accept it in its known condition.
For the existing service overview, see Copart and auction collections. For a delivery across the UK, Ireland or Europe, discuss the route and required arrangements before confirming either handover.
Vehicle suitability and collection area
We welcome enquiries for all vehicle types except HGVs. Acceptance depends on condition, loading requirements, access, route and availability; a vehicle type alone does not confirm suitability.
We prefer local collections within a 30-mile straight-line radius of L9, Liverpool. This is a collection preference, not a limit on longer-distance work. Collections and deliveries throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe can be considered, subject to the job, route, availability and required arrangements.
Contact us in the way that suits you
Send the main details using the existing website form, WhatsApp or telephone. The team can guide you through any follow-up questions. Suitability, price and arrangements must be agreed before a booking is confirmed.
During a journey, a driver’s live location can be shared through WhatsApp when available. This is not continuous tracking or a guarantee of an arrival time.
For urgent recovery or roadside help, call and confirm availability before waiting for assistance. For other questions, see contact details or the vehicle transport overview.
